appointed to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s National Arbitration and Mediation Committee in June 2023.
FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) is a self-regulatory organization under the oversight of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Among other duties, FINRA writes and enforces rules governing the ethical activities of all registered broker-dealer firms and registered brokers in the U.S. The NAMC makes recommendations to FINRA regarding recruitment, qualification, training, and evaluation of arbitrators and mediators. The NAMC also makes recommendations on rules, regulations and procedures that govern the conduct of arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution matters before FINRA.
